Job Description

Supervising Social Worker - IFANonstop are seeking a Supervising Social Worker to join an established Independent Fostering Agency in Norfolk. This is a permanent, full time position that will offer a combination of home and office based working.The Agency is well established with around 10 regional offices throughout England and Wales. Their Norfolk Service is the newest making it an exciting time to join the team.As a Supervising Social Worker the purpose of your role will be to support, develop and supervise a manageable case load foster carers. Duties will include:

  • Undertaking monthly and announced visits to foster carer households
  • Competing Annual Reviews for existing carers and Form F Assessments for new ones coming into the agency
  • Participating in the Agencys Outs of Hours Rota
    • The agency offers a therapeutic approach (based on their own unique model), flexible working and further opportunities to progress you career. The salary is up to £36,000 depending on experience, other benefits include:
  • Car allowance of £100 per month (plus £0.45 per mile towards mileage)

    • To be considered for this position you will be a Qualified Social Worker with at least one year experience in working within a Fostering Agency or Fostering Team. You must be able to demonstrate a sound knowledge of Fostering Minimum Standards, Fostering Legislation and Safeguarding.
