Job Description

Senior Architect/ Technologist/ Associate Reference: KOSHERN76Location: Norwich Salary: In the region of £45,000- dependant on experience Penguin Recruitment is delighted to be supporting a Norfolk based architectural practice in a new Senior level appointment for their team. The practice work across various sectors, with their recent work covering the Residential, Commercial and Communitysectors.The ideal candidate will have sufficient post qualification experience working as a Senior Architect or Senior Architectural Technologist and will be keen to work towards Associate level. If you are already an Associate, you are still encouraged to apply!As part of this role, you will be expected to manage a small team and support with the mentorship of your colleagues. You should have extensive past experience running projects across all RIBA stages and should demonstrate good leadership skills, alongsideaccuracy and pride in your work.Skills, Experience & Responsibilities for the role of Senior Architect/ Technologist/ Associate:

  • Proficient in CAD- ideally ArchiCAD as this is the software used within the team.
  • Oversee the operation and performance of the office, whilst supervising the employees.
  • Contribute towards the succession of financial targets, in line with budget.
  • Excellent communication skills as you will be in a heavily client facing role.
  • Display good commercial awareness of the practice industry sectors.
  • Substantial post qualification experience- as a Senior Architect or Technologist.
  • ARB registered or CIAT accredited/ working towards.
  • Highly motivated with ambitions to progress to Associate level- if not already there.
  • Utilise, manage, and work with suppliers/ contractors.
  • Attend client meeting with the aim to win new clients.
  • Run jobs across all RIBA stages.
  • Collaborate with your design team and utilise their expertise to work successfully as one.
  • Hand on approach to your role- involve yourself with surveying, technical drawing, and conceptual design.
