Job Description

Now, were seeking a talented individual to join our small refrigeration team and contribute to our continued success.As a key member of our team, you will have the opportunity to work on a variety of exciting projects involving both new and existing industrial refrigeration systems. Based near Norwich, youll be responsible for visiting client sites, where youll install,service, and maintain refrigeration equipment. Your role will encompass a diverse range of tasks, from routine servicing and repairs to fault finding and installation. Your ultimate goal will be to ensure the highest standards of workmanship, consistentlysatisfying our customers and fostering long-term relationships.To excel in this role, youll need to bring your expertise in refrigeration systems and demonstrate strong problem-solving skills. Our bespoke control systems will be at your disposal, and well provide training to help you master their intricacies. Your responsibilitieswill also include:

  • Conduct routine servicing and repairs, including mechanical fault finding and electrics on various refrigeration systems
  • Ensure work is of the highest standard, aiming for exceptional customer satisfaction and repeat business
  • Perform fault finding using our bespoke control systems (training provided)
  • Install refrigeration pipework and equipment
  • Carry out pressure testing and brazing
  • Conduct commissioning and servicing of HVAC and refrigeration equipment
  • Perform refrigerant recovery
  • Carry out refrigeration pipework tasks such as brazing, bending, setting, and joining
  • Conduct leak testing, evacuation, and charging of systems
  • Maintain strong relationships with clients
  • Identify new product or service opportunities
  • Occasionally stay overnight away from home, with all expenses covered by the company
  • Be flexible and willing to take on additional duties as required
Key Skills / Qualifications Required:
  • F-Gas Cat 1 qualification
  • Full driving licence
  • Enthusiastic and self-motivated team player
  • Strong background in refrigeration installation
  • Extensive field experience in the refrigeration sector
  • Willingness to travel outside the area when required
  • NVQ Level 2 or equivalent in HVAC (desirable)
  • Service and breakdown experience
  • Electrical and control experience
  • Ability to solve electrical problems on refrigeration units
  • Health and safety awareness and knowledge
Package:
  • Basic: £35,000.00 to £45,000.00 per annum
  • Plenty of Overtime
