Job Description

Walker Cole International is searching for a Production Engineering Manager to join a large, well-established Pharmaceutical business based in Norfolk. As a Production Engineering Manager, you will be responsible for managing the GMP manufacture of Pharmaceuticalproducts, with a focus on providing technical expertise.Your responsibilities will be to:

  • Effectively manage all resources and Team Members, adhering to production plans.
  • Drive continuous improvement and process optimisation activities.
  • Perform Risk Assessments and act as a leader in H&S.
  • Manage Engineering Change-Controls, Non-Conformance Investigations, and CAPAs.
  • Manage and update documentation in the eDMS.
  • Lead a diverse team, and work to build cross-functional relationships within the business.
  • Support on staff development and training.
The successful Production Engineering Manager candidate will have:
  • Formal Engineering Qualification, ideally in Mechanical, Electrical, or Production Engineering.
  • Industry experience in highly regulated production environments, ideally within Pharmaceuticals.
  • Several years experience of managing Production/Engineering teams.
  • Excellent experience of Continuous Improvement and Lean techniques (e.g., Six Sigma).
  • Experience with computerised systems such as ERP & DMS.
  • Experience with New Product Introductions.
