Job Description

Poultry Farm Workers required ASAPNorfolk areas - NR16, NR20, NR21, NR24, NR25, PE37Permanent contractsSalary: £19320-£20670 + overtimeRobertson Recruitment are looking for Poultry Farm Workers to work with turkeys for one of our prestigious clients in the Norfolk area.The Poultry Farm Worker role would involve but not limited to:

  • Clean and sanitize vaccination and blood testing instruments
  • Inoculate and spray vaccinate birds as instructed.
  • Record information according to instructions for medications, vaccinations and their treatments.
  • Move birds as required within the production area.
  • Clean and disinfect equipment and vehicles used in moving birds, supplies or equipment of the farm.
  • Select birds according to procedures outlined and record the data on forms provided.
  • Adhere to all company Health and Safety rules and procedures.
  • To observe all hygiene rules, this includes personal hygiene, hand washing and the wearing of all protective clothing.
  • Adhere to all Farm Health and Safety rules and procedures.
  • Any other reasonable requests by the Service Team Lead.
    • The ideal Poultry Farm Worker candidates would:
  • Have relevant experience working as a farm worker and dealing with live stock (desirable)
  • Be able to work individually under minimal supervision as well as working as a part of a team
  • Have a great eye for details and a high level of accuracy
  • Have good level of English
  • Be numerate and literate
  • Have excellent timekeeping
  • Have a positive attitude towards work
  • HAVE ACCESS TO OWN TRANSPORT (ESSENTIAL DUE TO LOCATIONS).

  • Basic working hours are 06:30-15:00 Monday to Friday (all candidates are expected to work 6 shifts/week, start/finish time can differ depending on company needs)
  • Saturdays are paid on x1.5 & Sundays are paid on double time
