Job Description

LGV Driver NightsAverage annual salary of £40,956 per annum. In addition, you will receive £300 per month market allowance and be eligible for a fuel and performance bonus. Permanent, Full time.Advertised average salary is based on average of 42 hours per week including overtime .Working Pattern: Average of 9 hour shift plus statutory breaks, 4 days per week, Monday - Sunday, normal start times between 5.30pm - 6.30pmJoin the UKs largest water company!This role is ideal if you are looking for regular shift patterns, regular hours and know that you will be home at the end of every shift. You will need to be flexible to accommodate the shift patterns, which will include weekend working and be adaptableto work across different vehicle types within our fleet, including tankers, bulkers, hooklifts, jetters. Full training will be provided.You will work within our Water Recycling Operational Logistics (WROL) team, based in Kings Lynn, and be responsible for the safe transportation, between our operational sites, of waste products produced from the water recycling process (sewage related by-products).You will need to be a team player who demonstrates commitment to personal and team health and safety and has a high level of attention to detail, specifically in the adherence to company processes and record keeping.The LGV Driver will support the relevant department with all aspects of goods movements ensuring full compliance with Anglian Water procedures, current Road Transport Legislation and EU Driver Hours Regulations. Support colleagues in the promotion of SafeSystems of work and an overall Health and Safety culture. Liaise closely with relevant teams, site operators and staff regarding operational issues.The LGV Driver will comply with all elements of health and safety regulations, ensuring all accidents and incidents are reported in line with procedures and that all team risk assessments and safety management plans are followed.As a valued employee, youll be entitled to:

What does it take to be an LGV Driver Nights
  • Class 1 Driving License (C+E) ideally, support may be available for Class 2 license holders wishing to develop
  • Fully completed driver CPC, limited support available is expired
  • Flexible to meet the demands of working in essential industry sector
  • Strong Team player
As an LGV Night Driver your role will also include:
  • Maintaining compliance of Anglian Water by delivering sewage related by- products between sewage treatment works, to farmers fields and energy generation centres.
  • Supporting operational technicians with tanker and jetter support on the sewerage network
  • Liaising closely with the WROL central office team regarding operational issues i.e. changes to work instructions, vehicle defects etc.
  • Supporting the WROL team and work colleagues in the promotion of Safe Systems of Work and an overall Health & Safety culture by identifying and reporting H&S concerns / near misses.
