Late Shift Production Manager Norfolk Commutable from - Norwich, Snetterton, Wymondham, Swaffham, Eye, Thetford, Bury St. Edmunds£35,000-£40,000Monday - Friday (4pm-2am)Our client is a leading livestock processing, production & packaging manufacturer, with a reputation for product quality which is second to none and industry leading UK standards.Due to continued growth they are looking for a Late Shift Production Manager to come onboard and lead all production & packaging operations on the back shift.Role & Responsibilities:*Will be responsible for the smooth running of the late production shift operation*Drive long term production & factory improvements*Hands-on production management in a fast-paced environment *Responsible for X70 production operatives & despatch team*Make sure all staff are aware of what is required of each shift, set targets, ensure safe operation of machinery and delegate tasks effectively *Accountability for the teams delivery against all departmental KPis, highlighting potential risks and identifying solutions*Responsible for health & safety, quality, labour and waste *Managing and coaching production team to be highly effective in their roles *Motivate and supervise the team day-to-day*Deliver shift briefs, with focus on quality, cost & delivery of product *Flexible to working different hours, sometime come in on a Saturday to support productionKnowledge, Skills & Experience:*Must be a hands-on production manager / team leader*Have previous experience of working in poultry processing & manufacturing*Good understanding of technical & quality aspects of food production *Have an open mind to change and improvement*A strong personality with fresh ideas *Flexible to working hours, sometimes longer days and weekend work when needed*Previously have managed a large production team*Knowledge and understanding of production line equipment i.e. changeovers & set-up*Able to multi-task, be reliable, organised and flexible approach*Knowledge and experience of health & safety, waste reduction, cost & product controlShifts & Benefits Package:*Salary:- £35,000 - £40,000*Hours:-Monday-Friday Late Shift - (4pm-2am) *Benefits:- Pension, 20 Days Holidays + Bank Holidays, Staff Discounts, Free ParkingJob Reference No: CG18189 / 611MSuitable candidates should apply immediately by calling our Managing Consultant for this vacancy - Chris Gumm on or by sending your CV directly to him at We regret that this client is not prepared to sponsor work permit or work permit transfer applications.
