Job Description

CK Group are recruiting for a Laboratory Administrator on behalf of a leading manufacturer of agricultural products to be based at their site in Kings Lynn on a permanent basis.The Company:Our client is an industry leader in the manufacture of agricultural products. This well established, family-owned organisation has multiple sites across the UK, and distributes product globally. Their labs employ a motivated team of experienced scientists,and the company foster a culture of personal and professional development, meaning that there are excellent opportunities for career progression.Salary: Per annum £23,000 to £25,000Location: The position is located in Kings Lynn. There is ample free parking provided on site.Laboratory Administrator Role:You will be responsible for:

  • Building and maintaining raw material specifications and material safety data sheet (MSDS) libraries and registers
  • Filing, responding to requests and managing transfers of product MSDSs
  • COSHH Assessments of raw materials, reagents and products
  • Label approvals (CLP, analysis and batch details)
  • Management of LIMS (Laboratory Information Management System)
  • Managing requests for COAs (Certificates of Analysis) and ensuring deadlines are met.
  • Managing external laboratory instrument calibrations and related training schedules
  • Supervision of labelling process for raw and intermediate materials
Your Background:The ideal candidate for this position will have the following skills and experience:
  • Gained experience in an ISO accredited environment (or equivalent management systems such as GLP/GMP).
  • Experience in a quality team environment is ideal and HSEQ background is preferred
  • Experience of working in the chemical industry would be ideal, but candidates from medical device, biology, food and associated sectors may also have the required transferrable skill sets
  • IT proficient and proven track record with experience of using LIMS or similar databases
  • Clean UK Driving licence as there may be some inter-site travel
