Job Description

IT Support Technician £25k DOE + Benefits – Watton, NorfolkCloudScope are looking for an IT Support Technician for a food production company based in Norfolk. You will be a valued member of the support team, providing day to day help and support to end users. This is a great opportunity for a technical individual to join a well known business and to take the next step in their career.The Role

  • Support and monitor the current infrastructure, systems & production systems
  • Assist end users with typical day to day IT queries & troubleshooting
  • Assist the factory users with using the production systems
  • Ensure that all systems on site are maintained & kept up to date
  • Assist with any relevant IT projects
  • Build & configure new/existing hardware including servers, workstations & mobile devices
  • Prioritising and managing workload effectively, managing several open Incidents
  • Keep users informed on status and progress of requests
  • Log calls and liaise with external suppliers
  • Good team skills are required, particularly in communicating and supporting other team members
  • Be able to communicate with people at all levels and technical ability
  • Contribute and keep up to date documentation
  • Contribute technical information and know-how to the IT knowledge base.

  • Experience working in a manufacturing environment
  • Supporting a windows operating environment
  • Good communication & troubleshooting skills
  • Active directory/DHCP/DNS/Window Server/Hyper V Manager knowledge
  • Have a good level of both written and verbal English
