Installation & Commissioning Engineer - ContractBio-Tech / Food ProductionNorfolk / CambridgeshireRate Per Hour - Outside of IR35 and Negotiable depending on experienceThe CompanyThis is a state of the art food production / Bio-Technology facility who are working with cutting edge equipment, technologies and processes to deliver the best in class and most sustainable food to the global consumer market. They work with some of theleading distributers and suppliers across the UK and Europe and their facility is purpose built and a true engineering showcase.The RoleDue to extensive growth and new equipment coming on to site, the now require a number of engineers to support projects. Working as a key member of the of the on-site Engineering Team, the Installation and Commissioning Engineers will be working on eitherMechanical or Electrical based process equipment that has a heavy slant towards full automation of process. The software and controls are highly advanced and the business has a true engineering foundation to always improve process and upgrade equipment wherepossible and so this will be a focus of the engineers.The PersonYou will have a proven background in automated process equipment installation and set-up in a high volume environment. Plant CAPEX installation, commissioning, de-bugging, and maintenance knowledge while always having one eye on process improvement to maximisethe end production volumes while maintaining the strictest quality and hygiene standards.Previous working knowledge of technical automation equipment and processes including conveyor type systems and food processing equipment would be highly advantageous in this role.
