Job Description

Health & Safety ManagerRecruitment Agency Reference: J78556A position has arisen for a temporary Health & Safety Manager placed within a highly reputable organisation situated in Norfolk. This role takes responsibility for all health and safety compliance for a contract length of six months.Your duties will include:

  • Responsible for ensuring the organisation meets all the required health & safety management arrangements
  • Ensuring that all incidents related to health and safety are investigated and managed effectively
  • Identifying trends and analysing underlying factors in order to reduce the number of safety related incidents
  • Lead on the advice and support for managers to comply with their health and safety legal responsibilities
  • Preparing an annual report for the Trust Board on health and safety strategies and key areas to provide assurance of compliance with all legally required safety legislation
  • Leading on the design and delivery of all relevant health and safety training as applicable
The successful candidate should have:
  • Knowledge and understanding of Health & Safety and be NEBOSH or IOSH Qualified
  • Experience of designing, delivering, and evaluating training programmes
  • Please note a DBS will be required for this position
