General Radiographer Team Leader | Band 7 Equivalent DOE | Norwich | Full Time | No Nights Spire Norwich Hospital are looking for an experienced and motivated General Radiographer to lead and co-ordinate a wide range of Radiography services, which includeX-Ray, Fluoroscopy, Mammography, Ultrasound, Theatres and Hybrid Theatre. In this role, you will ensure the team delivers an effective service by providing appropriate clinical leadership, as well as developing the expertise of the team through your mentoringand guidance. You will also be the main point of contact within the team for consultant and patient queries. We have 4 theatres, 2 wards, comprising of 50 beds, progressive and stimulating environment for our highly motivated team. Duties and responsibilities To act as a specialist diagnosticimaging resource for the multi-disciplinary team, and radiographers within Spire Healthcare. To lead on equipment maintenance and troubleshooting, scheduling planned visits and QA compliance. To act as Radiation Protection Supervisor providing advice and educationto the department, colleagues and Spire Healthcare proactively when requested. To provide assistance on PACS/RIS administration providing advice and support to the department when requested. To promote and assist in marketing of service developments to GPsand Consultants. To undertake evidence based projects, including recommendations for changes in practice. .Who were looking for Degree (BSc Hons) or equivalent. Registration with the HCPC A minimum of 5 years radiography experience. Competence across a rangeof imaging and leadership skills supported by highly skilled professional and specialist knowledge.
