Job Description

Do you love all things digital Are your customer service skills top notch Can you drive meaningful customer engagement A fantastic opportunity has become available for an experienced Digital Marketing Professional with strong customer service skills and a passion for all things ecommerce, to join a reputable and successful engineering organisation. Within this varied role,you will be delivering marketing content to promote sales, managing marketing campaigns (including SEO & PPC), maintaining the company website and providing customer service support to customers.This role would suit someone from a strong online marketing background who loves to bring new creative ideas to life but also has ecommerce platform experience and will keep the customer at the heart of everything they do ensuring the customer journey isthe best it can be. You will be joining a supportive and friendly team, where you can grow your skills.Duties to include:

  • Actively maintaining and updating the companys websites, e-commerce and social media.
  • Creation of marketing literature from initial concept to delivery, ensuring this is engaging and in line with business values.
  • Developing, delivering and managing SEO & PPC marketing campaigns.
  • Handling B2B consumer orders through the company websites.
  • Maintaining outstanding levels of customer service at all times.
  • Managing all the listings on these sites, including stock levels, product images, descriptions and prices.
  • Providing quotations and support to consumers.
  • Dealing with any customer queries and complaints.
You will have/be:
  • Previous experience in an internet-based IT role with knowledge of web-based applications/processing orders/products.
  • Experience using ecommerce software to build and maintain websites such as Woo-Commerce.
  • Proven SEO & PPC experience.
  • Experience delivering social media & marketing campaigns.
  • Working knowledge of Analytics software and reporting on traffic/trends.
  • Outstanding customer service skills.
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.
  • Strong organisational skills, coupled with the ability to effectively prioritise workload.
Beneficial but NOT essential:
  • Knowledge of basic CSS & HTML.
  • Experience with Sage 200.
  • Previous experience managing a eBay/Amazon business account or similar.
This is a full-time permanent opportunity, working 8:30am - 5:00pm, Monday to Friday. The offered salary for this role is up to £27,000 dependant on experience.
