We are currently looking for a Bioinformatician/Software Developer - 3 Year FTC to join a leading life science research institute based in the Norfolk area. As the Bioinformatician/Software Developer - 3 Year you will be responsible for developing highquality bioinformatics pipelines, allowing for industry-leading data analysis and the development of the companys genome annotation toolkit.KEY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:Your duties as the Bioinformatician/Software Developer - 3 Year FTC will be varied however the key duties and responsibilities are as follows:1. You will be designing new workflows within the companys genome annotation toolkit.2. You will be developing methods and approaches for the integration of data from various sequencing technologies.3. You will also be mentoring more junior members of the team in both bioinformatics and pipeline development.ROLE REQUIREMENTS:To be successful in your application to this exciting opportunity as the Bioinformatician/Software Developer we are looking to identify the following on your profile and past history:1. PhD in Bioinformatics/Computational Biology or another closely related discipline2. Strong demonstrable knowledge of pipeline development and genome annotation/analysis3.
