Job Description

Automation Developer (Kofax)Digital clientUp to £65k + benefitsAd hoc travel to client HQ in NorfolkIf you have software solution development and integration experience and youre seeking a new job, Deerfoot IT Resources wants to hear from you! We are looking for a Automation Developer with experience with Kofax or a similar technology.The successful candidate will contribute to the overall strategy and evolution of the technology platforms used to support the Document Processing environment, including operational processes enabled by technology, document capture, indexing, classification,extraction, workflow processing and image processing.In a typical week in this role, you will address these areas:

  • Provide ongoing oversight of Imaging and repository suite of tools and application systems
  • Identify and participate in improvement, system renewal, stability, and upgrade projects
  • Identify and assist in the re-engineering, improvement or replacement of business processes and associated technologies
  • Drive and enable troubleshooting and perform root cause analysis on DMS applications, process and systems to diagnose issues and rectify them.
To apply, you will need professional consultative business and technical experience and five years of software solution development and integration/infrastructure experience. You will also require other specific skills, including:
  • Worked with Kofax or a similar technology but happy to cross train into Kofax
  • Advanced experience in imaging technologies and an understanding of Imaging File formats, Data Extraction, OCR, ICR, Barcode Recognition, and Document Separation methods
  • Experience with semi-structured and unstructured document recognition and familiarity with mixed systems environments, mass storage and networking, Stored Procedures, Oracle, SQL Server, UDB/DB2
