Job Description

We are seeking a driven Applications Engineer to join our clients Engineering & Manufacturing team. This role offers the opportunity to work on exciting projects within the industrial / manufacturing industry, based in Norfolk.Client DetailsOur client is a major player in the industrial / manufacturing industry.   • Be responsible as a main point of contact for the entire project life cycle from concept through to installation support
  • Be responsible for technical aspects and liaise with contractual/commercial colleagues on your projects and ensuring compliance with client issued contracts, deliverables and specifications
  • Produce and manage company and client project documentation
  • Ensure compliance with industry and company standards, including project specific technical specifications
  • Production of technical test procedures and resulting reports together with technical documentation in accordance with company and project requirements
  • Support and work closely with our manufacturing team to ensure efficient and cost-effective production of the product
  • Provide technical advisory services to clients during the development & build process
  • Produce detailed design documentation for project
  • Undertake technical studies and site investigations
ProfileA successful Applications Engineer should have:
  • Degree in Electrical/Mechanical Engineering or similar level of experience
  • Good understanding of Excel
  • Manufacturing/production engineering experience
  • Excellent communication (written and verbal) skills
  • Ability to work to strict deadlines
  • Ability to develop strong working relationships with customers and colleagues
  • Strong task and project leadership skills, with ability to multi-task and manage multiple projects at any given time
  • Able to anticipate any potential project risks, identifying and establishing corrective actions
