Henderson Brown is proud to be exclusively partnered with one of the UKs top agricultural firms, who are recruiting for an Agricultural Service Engineer to join their team local to Aylsham and provide both field and workshop engineering support to theirportfolio of loyal customers across Norfolk. The Agricultural Service Engineer role is at the heart of the business and will require you to troubleshoot, repair and service both older and new state of the art agricultural equipment and machinery such as tractors and sprayers. Successful candidates willhave mechanical, electrical and hydraulic fault finding and repair skills and enjoy the challenge of troubleshooting and fixing problems autonomously.Duties of the Agricultural Service Engineer include:*Performing diagnostics and repairs *Carry out servicing*Completing all pre-delivery set up on new and used equipment. *Develop your skills and partake in training to develop skills and knowledge including new products and services offered by the manufacturers. *Mentoring apprentices and trainee as required *Your time will be mainly split 70% in the field and 30% in the workshopExperience required:*Previous engineering experience within the agricultural or similar sector e.g. MOD/Plant *Mechanical, electrical and hydraulic fault finding and skills*Relevant qualifications or time served*Good customer relationship skills*Full UK driving license is essential Package on offer:*A competitive hourly rate of £13-£15ph plus an attractive annual bonus*An enhanced over time rate with regular over time opportunities*A company van (allowed for work use)*Great staff discounts *An annual leave entitlement which increases with length of service*Company incentives run throughout the year*Great work facilities and a healthy and positive working environment and company culture
