Job Description

Finance Analyst/Management Accountant (Part Qualified)PermanentCrewe40kFinance Analyst /Management Accountant required for one of our established clients based in Crewe.The Finance Analyst /Management Accountant will report into and support the FP&A Manager with the analysis of the Management Accounts and budgets and forecasting.This a brand new role for a Part Qualified Finance Analyst /Management Accountant who is lookingfor the next step in there career whilst working for a large commercial business. The Finance Analyst will get exposure to the Management Accounts reporting and business partner with Senior level Managers and stakeholders to deliver analysis and key information.Key Responsibilities:

  • Supporting the FP&A Manager in the preparation of the consolidated budget
  • P&L, Balance Sheet and Cash Flow
  • Cashflow analysis including KPIs and operating cash flows
  • Liaising with finance teams during planning processes and controlling information flows
  • Assisting FPAM to identify and understand current and future reporting/analysis
  • Assisting in the production of budget and forecast presentations for the Board, PE investors and banking syndicate.
  • Responsible for reporting the budget to PE investors
  • Uploading budget, forecast and KPI data into the consolidation system and validating reporting outputs
  • Preparing presentations for the CFO/Board;
  • Ad-hoc reporting to PE investors;
  • Ad hoc requests for data and analysis.
Key Skills:
  • Part Qualified Accountant (ACA / ACCA / CIMA) or equivalent
  • Strong excel and modelling skills
  • Experience of working in a Group function desirable
  • Excellent attention to detail
    • Thrives on a challenge and accountability
  • Experience of working within a fast-paced entrepreneurial business desirable
  • Able to work under pressure and effectively prioritise to achieve strict deadlines and targets
  • Strong commercial awareness
  • Ability to work in a team-oriented, collaborative environment.
  • Good problem-solving abilities
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to deliver high quality presentations and documents
