Your responsibilities will include managing the fleet, ensuring operational compliance, effective route planning, and handling various administrativetasks.Key Candidate Requirements:

Proven experience in a Transport or Logistics Coordinator role.
Expertise in planning HGV vehicles. trailers and route optimization.
Previous engagement with warehouse teams.
Familiarity with working in a busy transport office.
Experience in the recycling or manufacturing sector is highly desirable.
Exceptional organizational and planning skills.
Strong time management abilities.
Effective verbal communication skills.
Proficiency in IT and numeracy, with the capability to schedule deliveries.
Positive attitude and strong prioritization skills.

Duties and Responsibilities:

Verify daily delivery schedules from logistics partners and engage in route planning.
Adhere to customer service processes and business procedures.
Collaborate with the warehouse team to ensure timely preparation of products and required volumes for loading.
Communicate promptly with the traffic department to report any potential delays.
Create consignments and arrange deliveries for customer orders.
Monitor and record loading capacity for parcel carrier collections.
Manage and control planners through Sage.
Upload and file supplier delivery documentation.
Place orders for site goods and raise purchase orders on Sage.
Handle various administrative tasks as needed.
