Acorn is currently recruiting for a Vehicle Load Security Auditor for a well-known contractor within the steelworks in Llanwern. This is a temporary 3-month contract initially, but could lead to long term work.The ideal candidate:* Able to communicate effectively with people from diverse backgrounds* Be literate with smartphone applications* Safety-focused, with a passion for high standards* Have a flexible approach and willingness to learn new skillsMain duties:* Perform checks on vehicle loading standards, driver qualifications and general load information* Record data and complete documentation in a timely manner, including using a phone-based app* Highlight and escalate safety-related issues* Liaise with hauliers and personnel as required during loading and vehicle-check operation* Comply with safety & security instructions at all timesRole requirements:* Full driving licence* Own transport* A CCNSG Site safety passport is essential or the ability to obtain one is required, funding may be able to the right candidateHours: 40 hours per week, Monday to Friday 6am - 4pm (part-time hours can be considered)Pay: £10 per hourBenefits:* Full training* Full PPE* 28 days annual leave per year, inclusive of bank holidaysPlease note: the successful candidate will be subject to an induction process that will include drug & alcohol testing.If you feel you have the required skills and experience needed to fulfil this role then please apply with an up-to-date CV.Acorn Recruitment Ltd is acting as an Employment Business in relation to this vacancy.
