Job Description

Trainee Teaching AssistantStart Date: 5th September 2022Hours: Full-Time (Monday to Friday 08:30-15:30)Pay: £350 per weekTeaching Personnel are currently recruiting for a Teaching Assistant to support the Reception Class of an Estyn rated Good School in Newport.The Primary School that we are working closely alongside has over 350 pupils enrolled and represents pupils that are aged 3 to 11 years old. There is an overall focus on teaching pupils to be independent and to strive to be the best they can, whilst enjoyingtheir education too. This School provides an inclusive environment and prides itself upon its caring and respectful nature.As a Teaching Assistant, it is important that you can work well alongside the Classroom Teacher to maximise the childrens opportunities; you will ensure that they are able to access the curriculum fully, with focus on ensuring engagement, motivation, andconfidence in their abilities.This role is confirmed to start immediately on 2 September until December 2022 initially and will be full time (32.5 hours per week). This is an excellent opportunity to make a positive impact and build upon your Teaching Assistant skills, all whilst receivinga competitive rate of pay.To be considered for this role:

  • Have experience working with children, but this doesnt necessarily need to be based within a classroom setting
