Job Description

I have an amazing opportunity to work within a very well known UK brand, who are looking for .Net Senior Software Engineers to expand their team.In this role you will:

  • Be a key decision maker and define the technical specification of new features and services
  • Ensuring that the team consistently maintains and improves the existing codebase
  • Be working closely with the wider team and be expected to mentor junior engineers
  • Be expected to make key decisions that are inline with the technical roadmap & replatform
  • Communicate effectively to stakeholders
Key responsibilities include:
  • Ensuring your teams code is well scoped, estimated, monitored, documented and tested.
  • You will lead on tracing bugs across the stack and ensuring that suitable tests are set up to avoid future regressions.
  • Working on greenfield projects as well as improving existing code within their legacy stack
  • Keeping up to date with the latest approaches to development and suggest new tech be added to the stack where necessary
  • Participation in regular hack days, using cutting edge tech to prototype innovative approaches to business/technical goals.
Tech Stack:
  • .NET Core
  • JavaScript (ES6+) / TypeScript
  • Node JS
  • Azure Service
  • Testing frameworks such as XUnit, Jest, Enzyme, React Testing Library & Nightwatch
  • Knowledge of Modern Architecture
