Acorn Recruitment is currently recruiting for a Scenario Development Manager on behalf of a reputable and large energy provider based in Newport. Youwill manage and lead on all collaboration projects with local partners to ensure full viability, identification of new schemes and their successful delivery. This is an office-based post, but you will be expected to travel throughout their regions for industry and partner meetings. Salary: Up to £49,000 Responsibilities: * Engage with key strategic industry partners and stakeholders to support planning projects * Develop & deliver internal interfaces with teams across the group * Reporting of project progress and closedown reports for internal & external requirements * Lead the scenario modelling team, providing expertise on pathfinder * Robust comparison & analysis of various scenarios * Own and coordinate modelling requests * Develop scenario modelling capability such as semi automation of pathfinder and developing improved processes for managing scenario dataRequirements: * Strong project management experience, ideally from the energy sector * Excellent analytical & reporting skills with Advanced Excel experience * Good understanding of the regulatory regime in the energy industry * Great communication and ability to influence internal/external stakeholders * Good management experienceAcorn Recruitment acts as an employment agency for permanent recruitment.
