These are: Directly supporting the delivery of a project or programme under the supervision of a Senior Project Manager by taking ownership and accountability for the successful delivery of one or more work packages; and Taking ownership and accountability for the successful delivery of a project of low or moderate complexity.If you have strong stakeholder management experience and are confident in your communication across all levels and have a flare for presentations then this could be a great role for you!Key Responsibilities

  • Take direction from, a Senior Project Manager, taking accountability for the successful delivery of the work package/project by leading and driving delivery
  • Ensure effective client engagement and stakeholder management by actively representing the project team and SSCL to the client, building and maintaining relationships throughout the project lifecycle
  • Develop outline project approaches, detailed project plans, cost budgets and time lines for medium/high projects that support the Sales, Bid and Delivery teams in developing commercially and contractually viable proposals and assist them in meeting their aims of securing business and meeting customer needs
  • Provide regular and accurate reports on project progress, risks/issues and plans to all relevant stakeholders whilst escalating any issues as per defined escalation procedures as appropriate
  • Monitor costs, timescales, resoures and the performance of team members and suppliers, taking action where these deviate from agreed levels and tolerances
  • Manage the extended project team, reviewing and approving work packages, setting objectives and managing performance so that the team is motivated and encouraged to develop skills and experience in line with project needs
  • Required skillsYou need to have:
  • Demonstrate experience as a Project Leader Analyst within a relevant commercial/industry/sector environment
  • Evidences the successful delivery of work packages and/or projects utilising both waterfall and agile methods
  • Demonstrable Project Management competence required for the role
  • Demonstrably applies Project Management knowledge, techniques and skills to successfully deliver work packages/projects
  • It would be great if you had:
  • Resourcing Services background
  • Current Project Management certification (APM PMQ preferred)
  • Current Membership of an appropriate professional project management body (MAPM preferred)
