Job Description

Project Manager - up to £43,000 - Hybrid (One Day a Week In Newport)The OpportunityYolk Recruitment Public Sector & Not-for-Profit team has partnered with a unique Civil Service Organisation who are presently undergoing an interesting transformation into the cloud space.We are supporting them to recruit a policy and process Project Manager who will be working on EU and NI trade law related projects, as well as other internal improvement projects. They will offer substantial training and professional development opportunitiesto the successful candidate.What the Project Manager will be doingYou will be leading full lifecycle projects for a large organisation which will vary between internal improvement projects and projects centred on retained EU law.

  • Organising and executing the delivery of full lifecycle projects
  • Maintaining the project plan with the most accurate information on dependencies and tasks
  • Provide guidance, leadership and direction to the project team
  • Generate and deliver effective and relevant project reports
What the successful Project Manager will bring to the teamYou will have previous experience of delivering end-2-end projects in a mid-large organisation which have a focus on policies and procedures.
  • End to end project experience
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
  • Ability to hit the ground running and pick up new projects quickly
  • Excellent knowledge of PM fundamentals including PM artifacts, software and methodologies
  • It is desirable to have knowledge of EU trade law, retained EU law and the Windsor Framework
