Job Description

Noticing ManagerSouth WalesSalary circa £45kI am recruiting on behalf ofa South Wales & West organisation who are looking to appoint a Noticing Manager to manage the Compliance team and Reinstatement Back Office and support the business in meeting its statutory and regulatory requirements. You will havea strong understanding of NRSWA and Streetworks legislations and also have excellent people management experience.Duties include (but are not limited to):

  • Management of the Street Compliance Team and Reinstatement Back Office
  • Monitoring and reporting streetworks compliance, provision of MI, engaging with the business to identify areas for improvement
  • Managing street works liabilities and costs (e.g. Permit fees, defect and inspection costs, Section 74, FPN’s, etc)
  • Review and implement changes in streetwork regulations, codes of practice etc to ensure compliance
  • To provide support to operations and the planning processes, and to assist in the achievement of NRSWA objectives and legal compliance - minimising costs incurred to the business
  • Management and reporting of GSOP2 (private reinstatement)
  • Conduct qualitative and quantitative assessments/inspections on work carried out to ensure that appropriate standards are maintained or improved in terms of quality and regulatory reporting
  • What you need:
  • Indepth understanding of relevant Codes of Practice including New Roads and Street Works Act 1991(NRSWA) and Traffic Management Act 2004
  • Understanding of Streetworks notice and permit protocols/requirements
  • Knowledge and understanding of Streetworks compliance
  • Streetworks software applications ie Symology Insight, DfT Street Manager etc
  • Use of SAP
  • Streetworks Supervisor qualification
  • Good organisation, time management and communication skills
