Job Description

Our client is looking for a Nanny or child care professional with demonstrable experience of caring for babies and young children to support a household based on the border between Cardiff and Newport.Nanny / Home Help / Housekeeper

  • Located on the border of Cardiff and Newport.
  • Approximately 25 - 40 hours per week, Permanent Position
  • Flexibility around working hours
  • £13.00 per hour (FTE £25,000 per annum)
January 2023 Start DatePlease Note: Applicants must be authorised to work in the UKThe family are looking for a calm person who genuinely loves babies and is highly experienced with young infants (nursery nurse / childcare / nurse / midwife / nanny qualified) to assist with the care of baby (due end 2022) and the general running of thehome.About the Role:
  • Both parents predominantly work from home. The family are looking for a person who will happily help out with all other aspects of running the home when hands on childcare is not required.
  • Flexibility and a can-do attitude are very important qualities, the ability to see what needs to be done and get these tasks completed - in relation to both the baby and the home are pivotal.
  • A willingness to run errands is preferable. A driving licence and car will be helpful (the family can provide a car for use during working hours).
Working Hours: Monday to Thursday 8/9 am - 6/7pm but flexible for the right candidate (Approximately 25 - 40 hours per week).About You:The right person will be an extension of the family, very amicable, with a happy disposition, sense of humour and excellent communication skills. They need someone kind with a caring nature, who shows a genuine passion for the work they do.The successful candidate will be willing to support the family with various household tasks. You must be a non-smoker.Please Note: The household includes pets so you will need to be comfortable with dogs and cats within the home.Qualifications and References:
  • References required.
  • Enhanced DBS & Childrens barred check list required (costs covered by the family).
  • Paediatric first aid trained.
