With over 75 years experience of water supply and distribution, NSF International tests a wide range of products which come into contact with water,from taps and pipes to washing machines and showers.Are you an enthusiastic, contentious and hardworking individual looking for a new role If so, this Junior Laboratory Analyst role could be the perfect opportunity for you.The Junior Laboratory Analyst role will include a variety of responsibilities, including: - Preparing and conducting odour and flavour tests for panellist assessments- Conducting analytical tests on water samples, including colour, turbidity and metal content (by ICP-MS)- Conducting basic microbiological tests, including cell-line maintenance- Accurately completing worksheets, data entry on IT systems, and filing records- Liaising with customers, suppliers and subcontractors- General laboratory housekeeping duties, including washing glasswareWhat were looking for in our ideal Junior Laboratory Analyst: - You should have good attention to detail and be accurate in your work- Able to work with minimal supervision- Further or higher education in a science-based subject, and experience of working in a laboratory environment is preferable- Knowledge of running an ICP-MS would be ideal but is not essential as full training will be given.With excellent opportunities to develop NSF International is the perfect choice for you to build you career.
