Job Description

IT Support AnalystNewportUp to £30,000Yolk Recruitment are working with a global manufacturingorganisation based in Newport looking for an ITSupport Analyst to support their internal users.As IT Support Analyst you will be responsible for providing 1st / 2nd line hardware & software support. This will include support of Windows based desktop technologies (Active Directory, Exchange, Office 365, Windows 10), basic networking (LAN, WAN, Cisco)& device rollout & support (HP, Iphone etc). You will join an experienced team always looking to provide training & support where possible.They are based in Newport & the role will be based onsite.Key Responsibilities:

  • Serving as the first point of contact for IT support within the UK
  • Supporting Windows Desktop technologies (Active Directory, Exchange, Office 365, Windows 10)
  • Diagnosing and troubleshooting software and hardware issues
  • Repairing and replacing damaged computer and network components
  • Remote & Deskside support
Essential Skills Required:Support of the following:
  • Windows 10
  • Active Directory/ Exchange
  • Office 365
  • Basic Networking, ideally Cisco.
Soft Skills:
  • Excellent phone manor / interpersonal skills
  • Ability & willingness to learn new skills
  • Strong analytical / problem solving ability
