Job Description

Hands on role for a growing business in South Wales that is moving from strength to strength.Client DetailsThe company based on the outskirts of Newport has gone from strength to strength over the past 2 years and is looking for a strong installation Manager to build upon the foundations currently in place. This new role comes with excellent opportunities with genuine job growth. Initially what will be a hands-on role, we are looking for the right candidate to build a team and lead the business forward.DescriptionThe successful candidate will be responsible for the full installation process including health and safety, surveying, and quality control in line with the installation programme.You will be responsible for

  • Ensuring all aspects of health & safety, environmental and quality compliance is maintained throughout.
  • Site surveys, providing an accurate assessment taking into consideration the operation of the product whilst ensuring the requirements of the customer are met.
  • To create and manage the installation programme, ensuring they are adhered to as efficiently as possible to meet deadlines and targets.
  • Manage sub-contractors
  • Carry out product installation where required
  • Provide technical support, to the overall business
  • Be able to interpret engineers drawings and fabrication manuals
  • To ensure that housekeeping is adhered to and maintained
  • Provide QC inspections on all aspects of the installations.
  • Manage and carry out product deliveries inline with the installation programme
  • ProfileThe successful candidate will
  • Possess a high degree of product knowledge in a variety of Aluminium Systems.
  • Have a minimum of 3 years experience in a similar role
  • Hold an SMSTS card
  • Be able to prioritise and organise work efficiently and effectively.
  • Be driven to achieve objectives, regardless of problems.
  • Be energetic and enthusiastic, proactively offering proposals.
  • Achieve objectives.
  • Transmit information in a clear, concise, and confident manner.
  • Be consistent, accurate and ensure that procedures are followed.
  • UK driving licence
  • Keen eye for detail
  • Excellent customer service skills
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with both clients and all levels of staff.
