The acquisition of German-based DIARECT AG in June 2020 established BBI as the leading provider of antigens in the autoimmune and tick-borne IVD markets.OpportunityWe currently have an exciting opportunity for a new Group Marketing Manager to join us on a permanent basis at our Crumlin site, responsible for defining a new global marketing strategy, building a new team of Marketing experts, and working as part of thewider Commercial Leadership Team to ensure the delivery of BBIs overall Commercial strategic objectives.BenefitsThe salary offered for this role is competitive and makes up part of BBIs attractive benefits package, which includes:

The RoleThis role is key in the setting and global delivery of a marketing strategy focused on providing strategic and technical marketing capabilities to our global sales teams and customers. This will include a particular focus on driving greater penetration andcross selling into our strategic key accounts, while also creating a strategy to support prospecting activities and new account acquisition.This position is also responsible for the building and managing the BBI Marketing team, whilst supporting the wider Commercial and Senior Leadership Team to maintain marketing strategies which meet BBIs strategic objectives and customers needs.Key responsibilities will include but not be limited to;
  • Developing and delivering a technical marketing strategy, suitable to support the delivery of BBIs 5 year business plan
  • Understanding market dynamics, competitors, trends and future market trajectories to align BBIs marketing activities and to inform business direction
  • Lead the implementation of marketing plans and programmes for products based on clear segmentation, targeting and positioning in conjunction with the Product Management team
  • Support the development of BBIs Key Account Management programme, and providing technical support and insight to drive greater account penetration and cross selling through strategic partnerships
  • Creation, management and development of the wider marketing team, driving customer excellence and supporting the wider Commercial team
  • Establish a governance and performance framework to control and measure the effectiveness of BBIs marketing activities
  • Work with Commercial leadership to evaluate and determine BBIs channels to market, and to develop supporting plans and activities to deliver against these
  • Manage and develop the organisations website and social media presence
  • Set and administer an annual marketing budget, control day to day costs, and to negotiate with external providers
  • Responsible for managing consistent brand execution for internal and external customers, ensuring consistency across a variety of channels from sales teams, catalogue, deals papers, press and online
  • Create and manage a calendar of events such as webinars, conferences and thought leadership contributions
