Job Description

We have an opportunity for a fluent German speaker to join a multilingual team as a customer service and claims advisor, handling inbound business to business queries from Germany for a rapidly expanding specialist insurance company.This is a great company to work for, which offers excellent training and potential for career progression across the business. The salary is £23,000 pa.This hybrid role is based in Newport, but you would be able to work from home for 3 days and 2 days in the office near Tredegar Park.The Role:Providing excellent customer service on the phone and by email in a regulated environment.

  • Being the first point of contact for German speaking business clients
  • Liaising with other insurance companies and underwriters in Germany and the UK
  • Dealing with incoming enquiries and correspondence for quotations and claims from Germany
  • Compiling case information and updating the internal diary system
  • Prioritising your daily workload and escalating any issues to the senior management team
The Candidate:Do you:
  • Have fluent written and spoken German and fluent English skills
  • Have a professional manner both verbal and written
  • Show attention to detail and enjoy working in a process-driven environment
  • Have some office experience (customer service or insurance experience is not necessary)
LocationThe company is based in a business park between Newport and Cardiff with easy access from the M4 and is commutable from Bristol, Cardiff, Swansea, Chepstow, Monmouth and the M4.
