Job Description

The client XCL Group are recruiting for are a busy main contractor that specialise within the energy & horticultural/glass house industries. Our client has already got a full order book for 2020 and are still taking on new projects, they are now looking for an experience electrical design engineer. You will be responsible for designing and estimating of electrical projects within the business.Job Responsibilities

  • Responsible for the design and estimating of electrical projects, providing concept electrical designs and budget estimates
  • Manage and prepare accurate costings and specifications for tenders and potential electrical projects
  • Resolve electrical design issues throughout the wider business
  • Develop concept designs into working schemes on successful projects
  • Attend estimating and design meetings
  • Plan and implement designs and estimates in a timely manner
  • Evaluate projects post completion
  • Stay up to date with current legislation relevant to your team and area of responsibility.
    • Job Requirements
  • Previous experience with electrical control systems
  • Efficient in time management and able to work to deadlines
  • Good understanding of LV systems
  • Experience on energy centres and industrial projects would be advantageous
  • Excellent communication skills between employees and clients
  • Experience with Amtech, Dialux or Relux, AutoCAD would be advantageous
  • Experience with electrical enquiries through estimating and design stages
