Job Description

If you are an experienced BMS Controls Engineer, this post is something genuinely different and seriously exciting.Youll be joining a company that is trailblazing in the field of vertical farming, regular glasshouses and energy efficient solutions away from horticulture.Ideally you will have HVAC & BMS experience as you will be involved with carrying out:- Installation of control systems including connecting control panels, installing sensors, connections to mechanical equipment and equipment provided by others.- Commissioning of newly installed BMS systems including networking other systems and devices (Modbus/Bacnet etc)- Service and repair work on existing BMS and other control systems- Carry out repair or modification of control panels including minor electrical worksIf you have the ability to carry out BMS programming it would be really useful, if not, they are happy to give you training and build upon your enthusiasm.You will also get involved with fault finding, diagnostics and repairs , training provision to clients and working with other parties to commission systems on site.Due to the nature of the role you will be working remotely and covering on call on a 1 in 4 basis with the majority of times being you will be able to resolve the issue at arms length.With them providing a service nationwide you may well be covering a few miles, but with people on the South Coast and the Midlands your ideal location will be somewhere north of Watford or around Yorkshire/East Midlands.They are also winning a increasing amount of work in Europe, particularly in Scandinavia, so if you fancy working somewhere a bit different, they will certainly be able to accommodate you.If you have experience of installing and commissioning BMS controls systems coupled with HVAC System knowledge and a friendly client facing nature this is a cracking role for you as you will be working with one of the main players in an exciting and developingfield.On offer is a salary between £35k and in excess of £50k depending upon your level of experience and scope of your knowledge, a car allowance, company pension, 25 days leave plus stats and various other benefits including retail discounts.To discuss your next post, get in touch via any of the links on this site.Calibre Search promote equality in the workplace and we welcome applications from all suitably skilled or qualified candidates regardless of their sex, race, disability, religion/beliefs, sexual orientation or age.
