Acorn Recruitment is currently recruiting for a Commercial Underwriter to join a financial services client of ours based in Newport. This post will join at an exciting time as they look to launch a new commercial lending division and youll play a pivotal role in delivering this service.Salary: £45,000 - £60,000 Responsibilities: * Drive profitable growth through effective underwriting, understanding risk management and delivery of superior service. * Develop relationships & lead negotiations with brokers and clients * Manage your pipeline of cases all the way through to completion, ensuring that both lending policy and company standards are adhered toRequirements: * Significant experience of underwriting in a commercial lending environment * Strong level of commercial awareness with the ability to build effective relationships * Pragmatic & confident decision maker with good analytical skills * CeMap Qualified or an equivalent qualificationAcorn Recruitment acts as an employment agency for permanent recruitment.
