  • Provide timely and professional service to clients in managing pre-litigated cases within the motor department.
  • Negotiate claims related to liability and damages within specified limits for pre-litigation cases.
  • Serve as a knowledgeable point of contact for clients, demonstrating expertise aligned with your experience.
  • Enhance your technical knowledge through training and relevant reading materials.
  • Ensure strategies align with case values and remain informed about the firms plans.
  • Adhere to internal and external service level agreements, following data security protocols.
  • Maintain accurate management information records.
  • Achieve individual financial targets based on work type, charging basis, and experience.
What experience do you need as a Claims Handler:
  • Prior customer service experience
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Word.
  • Strong organisational skills, including prioritisation and managing caseloads under pressure.
  • Analytical ability to review evidence, identify issues, and inconsistencies.
  • Balancing legal principles with commercial considerations.
  • Strong interpersonal skills for effective teamwork and customer communication.
  • Resilience for navigating telephone negotiations and receiving constructive feedback.
  • Aptitude for learning and integrating new skills into claims handling capabilities.
