We are looking for an energetic, enthusiastic and well-motivated Band 6 Biomedical Scientist to join the team at the Molecular Microbiology laboratory in the Aneurin Bevan University Health Board at our Grange University Hospital site, however there will also be opportunity to rotate to both the Royal Gwent and Nevill Hall Hospital sites.We are looking to employ suitably qualified Biomedical Scientists, who have HCPC registration, relevant experience in Microbiology and have completed the IBMS Specialist Portfolio. We cover a variety of services, such as Bacteriology, Serology, Mycology, Molecular Diagnostics and Andrology. Molecular Microbiology is based at The Grange University Hospital (Cwmbran), Bacteriology, Virology and GU Medicine services are based at Royal Gwent Hospital (Newport) and Andrology is based Nevill Hall Hospital (Abergavenny) and you may be required to work at either site according to the demands of the service.
