Job Description

Since the company was established in 1992, Hydraflow has provided a high quality and personal service primarily in the refurbishment and manufacturing of Hydraulic Cylinders. Hydraflow joined the Rubix Group in January 2022We are busier than ever helping to keep the wheels of industry turning and we have an exciting opportunity for an Admin Assistant to join our Insite team in Newport!Who doesnt love a challenge! This opportunity will give you your first step to getting yourself noticed in a fast moving, fast growing dynamic business.We support our customers to ensure they have all the parts, spares and tooling they need to operate as well as working hard to ensure we obtain the best deals with suppliers. As Admin Assistant you will be a pivotal part of the team and its success so get ready to be in demand. General Duties:Administrative- Maintain filing system, file reports, manage creation of new folders and archiving- Scan Delivery notes for filing online and manage collection of them- Order stationery- Book hotel accommodation when required- Provide general administrative support to the team- Use in house software (K8 & Microsoft Access)Purchasing- Issue and process purchase orders to suppliers, from initial PO number allocation through to goods receipting- Follow up overdue orders with suppliers and advise of order status- Ensure completion of purchase order log, status update and confirmation of goods receivedHealth & Safety- Support Office Manager to communicate Rubix H&S messages to the team- Print & issue Toolbox talks for team completion, chase up completion- Issue H&S documents as part of new starters induction packHR- Check holiday request authorisations- Book training courses- Keep training files and tracker up to dateWant to develop: Are you passionate and want to growWhat we need:- Team Player: Strong team skills and the ability to interact well with customers and colleagues- Strong Communication: Demonstrates the ability to communicate both verbally and in writing with a wide range of customers and colleagues- Customer Service experience- Answering phones and responding to client request and enquiries- Attention to detail- Basic IT skills- Be committed to delivering in line with our Group values: Act with integrity, Own & Take Action, Stay curious, Never settle & Embrace perspectivesWho are we And what are your benefitsBrammer, Buck & Hickman are the most trusted single source of industrial supplies thanks to our national network of branches and commitment to our customers.
