Job Description

Technical Consultant - IT ServicesLocation: Newcastle Upon Tyne Salary:£45,000 - £50,000 Dependant on experience + Amazing benefits, training, and progression.My client based in Newcastle is a leading IT provider across the North East and due to ongoing growth and new clients they are looking to add to their team. To be suitable for this role you must have a strong technical background and extensive experience leading server, storage, networking, virtualisation back up, and recovery projects.This is a brilliant opportunity to enhance your skills and work with the latest technologies.   • The successful candidate must have very strong experience in VMware, Networking, and all Microsoft Infrastructure, supporting and implementing these technologies daily.
  • Pre-sales, best practice, technology strategy, design, delivery/implementation, and operational support services.
  • Expert in Microsoft products, AD, Server, Office 365, Exchange, RDS, Virtualisation (VMWare, Hyper V), Networking, Firewalls, Storage (NetApp, Dell, HP), Backup and Recovery (Veeam, etc).
  • Infrastructure transformation programs and upgrades.
  • Experience with Cloud-based services
  • Project management
