The BusinessWestray Recruitment Group are seeking a Stack Emissions Team Leader to join our client based in Newcastle. The company in question provides services and support to manufacturing businesses based in the North East, that require monitoring to assess compliancewith Environmental Permits. Emission monitoring is also carried out to assist clients with process controls, optimisation of abatement systems and odour control.The RoleFor this position you will be working within a small UKAS / MCerts accredited stack emissions monitoring team providing emission monitoring services to customers. Most of customers require compliance testing, however testing is also carried out to assistprocess controls, optimisation of oxidisers and odour control. Project set-up, client liaison, site work and reporting are essential daily skills. Assistance with the company accreditation and Quality System is also required.Key Tasks:
  • Maintenance and calibration of equipment
  • Undertaking monitoring on site; using both extractive sampling and instrumental techniques
  • Compiling reports, SSPs, risk assessments and associated site worksheets
  • Working in line with our UKAS accreditation and Quality System
  • Liaising with colleagues and clients in order to provide a high quality service
  • Reviewing Standards, SOPs, UKAS documentation and EA Guidance
  • Keeping up to date with current test protocols

  • MCerts Level 2, with TEs 1 and 4 as a minimum
