Job Description

Junior / Mid - Software / Web Developer - Newcastlem currently recruiting for a Developer to join a vibrant, collaborative, team led studio. This agency has won several awards, theyre based in Newcastle and are a strong and large team of creative developer, inspiring designers and digital innovators. Theywork with some of the most ambitious clients from around the UK and design and build market leading web, mobile and bespoke digital applications for them.Within this role you will get the chance to deliver innovative digital projects from eCommerce to games, apps to business-critical digital applicationsSkills:

  • Excellent coding and problem-solving abilities and a can do attitude.
  • Experience with object oriented languages, such as Java, PHP, .NET - you do not need to be skilled in all 3 languages.
  • Experience of front end technologies such as React, VUE, Knockout and SASS / LESS.
  • Experience with web server technology such as Nginx or Apache.
  • Experience of database design and technology such as MySQL or Hibernate.
  • The desire to help with the design and development of large and often complex digital and web applications.
  • An understanding of how to create high performance, robust, scalable applications to commercial deadlines.
  • An enthusiasm to work collaboratively as part of a multi-disciplined team and to lead by example.
  • The ability to take ownership of the delivery of projects within your team.
  • A passion for creating the very best digital applications.
  • The drive to continue learning new skills, technologies and frameworks.
