Job Description

Service Engineer (Compressors / Pneumatics) £38,000 - £42,000 (OTE £46K) + Company Van + 25 Days Holiday + BonusPatch covering Newcastle, Sunderland, MiddlesboroughAre you a Compressor Engineer looking for a role granting you autonomy to work independently, multiple progression routes, and the ability to significantly increase you earnings through overtime In this role you will be servicing various Air tools, compressors and pneumatic. You will be working from home and travelling to sites around the North East with a company vehicle, occasionally visiting a workshop based in North Shields for supplies or support.The work will mostly be preventative maintenance but you will be required to be on call one week in six.This company was originally founded in 1850 and has slowly diversified its products and service to generate a turnover of over £21 million. They have a great reputation in the industry for supporting their employees growth and boast great staff retention.With plans to expand nationwide and increase their service portfolio, theyre looking to train up the next generation of Engineers to take the company to the next level.This role would suit either an Engineer with compressor experience or similar looking for a secure role within a stable, expanding company offering a local patch and the chance to significantly increase your earnings through overtime.The Role:

  • Servicing, maintain and repairing Air Tools, Compressors and Pneumatic equipment
  • Monday to Friday, 40 hour week, 80% Preventative, 20% reactive maintenance
  • Field based covering Newcastle, Sunderland, Middlesborough and travelling to a North Shields based workshop twice a week
  • Optional overtime available paid 1.5x Mon-Fri and 2x on Weekends, On call 1 week in 6 with additional call-out bonus
The Person:
  • Compressor Engineer or similar
  • Full UK Driving License
