Job Description

Do you have medical sales experience in the orthopaedics space We are supporting our client in their search for a Sales Representative to join their team in the North East.The company Our client is a huge blue-chip organisation known across the medical, surgical, and orthopaedic world. They offer innovative products and services to improve patient and hospital outcomes including medical and surgical equipment, orthopaedics, neurotechnology,training and education. The role As a Sales Representative, you will pursue business opportunities to grow our clients business in targeted accounts within the Sports Medicine portfolio across the North East. You will focus on developing strong relationships with key stakeholders and takingan active part in customer education in the field.Other responsibilities include

  • Learning and practising the techniques required to grow the volume within your territory
  • Learning to manage business accounts within exciting sales territory
  • Becoming responsible for day to day running of key accounts and supporting other sales managers
  • Understanding stock issues, instrument requirements, and organising kit loans
  • Carrying out customer training and guide the use of products
  • Planning and executing the quarterly and annual business plan
  • Providing customer care to physicians, surgical staff, and hospital administration
  • Achieving sales and margin targets
  • Representing our client to all levels of commissioners and managers within the territory
The requirements Surgical experience in theatre is essential, as well as
  • Degree educated in a Medical, Scientific, or Sports discipline
  • Keen to learn and develop technical knowledge
  • Knowledge of anatomy and physiology
  • High intellect and self-driven
  • Strong commercial drive with good analytical skills
  • Excellent communication skills, with the ability to build strong relationships
  • Well-developed presentation skills
  • Able to work under pressure and handle conflict
  • Proficient computer literacy skills (MS Office and CRM systems)
  • Driving Licence to cover your territory
  • Flexible and willing to travel regularly
