We are exclusively recruiting for a Regional Engineering Manager to join one of our key clients, a market-leading and well established manufacturing business, who produce and supply a range of essential products across a diverse range of sectors globally.The Regional Engineering Manager will be responsible for leading a multi-disciplined engineering and maintenance function (headcount, ~25 engineers) across a number of sites within the Northern region. You will provide tactical leadership and be responsiblefor both the strategic and day to day running of your teams - with a primary focus of ensuring the people, processes and systems are in place to maximise efficiency, ensure asset reliability and contribute to the smooth and safe running of the operation ina safe manner.About the business:The business have grown to establish themselves as one of the market leaders within their respective field. There are a number of significant engineering projects andsite improvements/upgrades being carried out within the Northern region over the coming years for you get your teeth stuck into!We have worked alongside this business for many years, recruiting several key roles for them across the board, but with 2024 in full swing, this Regional Engineering Manager role is certainly up there as one of the most important appointments they will makethis year.The ideal candidate for the Regional Engineering Manager will have the following background:

• An experienced and well qualified Engineering Manager/Head of Engineering who has led large engineering/maintenance teams.
• Qualified, either through the form of an Engineering Degree or Apprenticeship.
• A strong understanding of Engineering Disciplines - Mechanical, Electrical and Instrumentation.
• Previous experience working in highly-regulated engineering sectors - Pharmaceutical, Chemical, Food Manufacturing, etc. would be particularly desirable.
• Strong people leader, who challenge, coach and motivate teams through effective change management.
• Has a track record of driving engineering efficiencies whilst contributing to the continual running of smooth and safe manufacturing operation.
• A strong stakeholder manager, who can liaise with people at all levels both internally and externally.
