Job Description

Job Title: Regional Account Manager - Process Instrumentation - North East EnglandCompany Overview: Our client is a leading manufacturer of process instrumentation, level measurement, temperature measurement, and smart flow control products, serving various industries including Oil & Gas, Petrochemical, and Food & Beverage. With a commitmentto innovation and excellence, they specialize in providing reliable solutions to meet the unique needs of our clients.Position Overview: We are currently seeking a dynamic and experienced Regional Account Manager to join our clients team, covering the North East of England. In this role, you will be responsible for managing and expanding our customer base within the designatedregion, focusing on industries such as Oil & Gas, Petrochemical, and Food & Beverage. The ideal candidate will have technical sales experience, preferably with Valves, Pumps, or Mechanical Seals Manufacturers.Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and execute sales strategies to achieve revenue targets and maximize market share within the assigned territory.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with existing customers, identifying opportunities for upselling and cross-selling our products and services.
  • Prospect and engage with potential customers to generate new business opportunities and expand the customer base.
  • Provide technical expertise and product knowledge to customers, assisting them in selecting the appropriate solutions to meet their specific needs.
  • Collaborate with internal teams, including engineering and customer support, to ensure timely delivery of products and services and resolution of customer issues.
  • Stay informed about industry trends, competitor activities, and market developments to identify new opportunities and maintain a competitive edge.
Requirements:
  • Bachelors degree in Engineering, Business, or related field preferred.
  • Proven track record of success in technical sales, with experience in Flow Control, Process Instrumentation, Valve, Pump, or Mechanical Seals Manufacturers being highly desirable.
  • Strong understanding of the Oil & Gas, Petrochemical, and Food & Beverage industries, including knowledge of industry regulations and standards.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport and trust with customers at all levels.
  • Self-motivated and results-oriented, with a proactive approach to identifying and pursuing sales opportunities.
  • Ability to travel within the assigned territory as needed.
  • Valid drivers license and clean driving record.
