Job Description

Position: PCB DesignerLocation: Newcastle + Hybrid Work From HomeSalary: Up to £55,000The Role: KO2 are now working with a cutting-edge electronics company located in the thriving tech hub of Newcastle who are seeking a PCB Designer to join their growing engineering team. They specialise in creating innovative electronicsolutions that push the boundaries of technology that are sold and used around the globe across multiple industry sectors.Key Responsibilities:

  • Design and develop complex printed circuit boards (PCBs) using Altium Designer software.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand project requirements.
  • Create detailed schematics, layouts, and documentation for PCB assemblies.
  • Conduct design reviews and ensure compliance with industry standards and best practices.
  • Optimize designs for manufacturability, cost, and performance.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve PCB-related issues during development and production phases.
Requirements:
  • Bachelors degree in Electronics Engineering or a related field.
  • Proven experience in PCB design using Altium Designer.
  • Strong knowledge of PCB layout principles, component selection, and routing techniques.
  • Familiarity with industry standards, such as IPC and RoHS compliance.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  • Effective communication and teamwork abilities.
  • Enthusiasm for staying up-to-date with emerging technologies in PCB design.
