Job Description

THE ROLEUK based Payroll
  • Timely and accurate monthly processing of permanent and variable changes, starters, leavers, benefits in kind, salary sacrifice, holiday pay, NMW
  • Payroll reporting: deductions, EPS, PAYE/NI, pensions, court orders, benefits in kind
  • Ensure compliance with company policy, legislation and statutory requirements
  • Annual payroll reporting - tax year end, taxable benefits, dispensations
  • Annual Gender Pay Gap Reporting
  • Administer benefit plans and liaise with providers and ensuring contractual and statutory compliance (salary sacrifice, stakeholder pension, private medical, etc)
  • Point of contact for employee payroll queries
  • Archiving
European Payroll
  • (France, Netherlands, Belgium, Sweden, Poland)
  • Liaising with payroll providers and making payments
  • Reviewing and processing monthly payroll payments
  • Payroll reporting: deductions, finance reports
  • Liaising with providers (pension, insurance, etc)
  • Statutory reporting
Pension payroll & other duties
  • Monthly processing of changes, starters and leavers, RTI, payment of tax, processing net pay -
  • Payroll reporting - Tax year end processing (P60s)
  • Liaising with Pension Administrator
  • Immigration: administration of SMS; immigration process for individuals requiring right to work in UK and ensuring compliance with PAYE/social requirements
  • Reporting for annual company audit
  • Maintenance and monthly preparation of internal reports: headcount, forecasting, holiday accrual, etc Reconciliation and validation of data between systems
  • Administration and SME for European HRIS and UK time and attendance system
  • Compliance with GDPR
  • Proactively reviewing, maintaining and developing all documentation and processes to ensure compliance with legislation and company policies
  • Work closely with HR and Finance team
THE PERSON
  • This role will suit a candidate who has managed large scale payroll (250 employees+)
  • Comfortable in a standalone role
  • Ideally from a Manufacturing/Industrial/Construction background
  • Able to communicate at ALL levels - You will be the go-to Payroll contact for the business
  • Previous experience at management level is essential
