Job Description

Job DescriptionTenth Revolution Group ("TRG") is tackling the cloud skills gap to connect critical talent to businesses around the world. The group company employs approximately 1,200 employees worldwide and has offices around the globe. TRG is seekinga paralegal to support their brands with a specific focus on "Revolent" which is a hire, train and deploy brand within the TRG business. The legal function at TRG is involved in all aspects of the business from client contracts to employeeissues, compliance, and collections. This is a fast paced, exciting, and challenging environment that is constantly creating new opportunities globally for our staff.Role & ResponsibilitiesRole - This role will support TRGs global business. The role is in Newcastle and will work closely with the Senior Legal Counsel EMEA & APACproviding commercial support to our UK and international (excluding the USA) sales and support teams,in the form of written and verbal advice enabling them to conduct business and play an integral role in our worldwide expansion.Responsibilities - At the outset, the focus of the role will be supporting the Senior Legal Counsel with day-to-day tasks including, but not limited to liaising with internal clients (i.e. the sales staff and managers), negotiating directlywith the UK, European and the APAC region clients, as well as recovering debt from our clients globally (excluding the USA). In addition, the role will involve extensive contract drafting and negotiation with external clients.The main responsibilities of the role include:

  • Reviewing and negotiating all client terms of business through to conclusion.
  • Suggest workarounds to mitigate or eliminate risk to TRG caused by client required contractual terms.
  • Revise TRG form terms of business and contracts of employment in response to market developments and changes in the labour leasing and employment laws.
  • Draft and update employment policies.
  • Drafting documents for company use (NDAs, HR, and company documents).
  • Work with the Senior Legal Counsel EMEA & APAC on specific projects (such as the creation of new business entities and establishing new business globally) and keeping up to date with the jurisdictional changes for all the offices covered.
  • Researching new country procedures and legislation to enable TRG to provide its services.
  • Providing advice on, and monitoring, international compliance.
  • Manage to resolution multiple collection matters with TRG clients including composing letters to clients chasing unpaid invoices and addressing breach of contract.
  • Deal with employment issues.
  • Manage relationships with outside counsel (where necessary).
  • Providing advice to management and staff on the companys legal position and response to issues; and
  • Other ad-hoc administrative tasks include contract administration as required.
Skills & Qualifications
  • Education to degree standard.
  • Commercial contract drafting and negotiation experience.
  • Clear written and verbal communication skills at all levels are essential.
  • Assertive personality with good analytical and organisational skills.
  • Confident using Microsoft Word and Excel.
  • Self-motivated with the ability to work under pressure.
  • Ability to ensure confidentiality at all times.
  • Excellent attention to detail.
  • Flexibility and reliability are essential.
  • Well versed in complex contractual legal concepts.
  • Ability to handle multiple matters and multiple clients simultaneously.
  • Strong writing, oral advocacy, and interpersonal skills; and
  • Strong organisational skills.
