Job Description

Operations Manager - Newcastle£36,000 - £40,000 + benefits (Depending on Experience)Join an esteemed Water Treatment Consultancy, with roots dating back nearly 40 years as the North Easts leading consultancy. My client is hiring an experienced Operations Manager to enhance their businesss success and drive the implementation of new processesaimed at cultivating a culture of continuous improvement.Located in the North East region, this position presents an exciting opportunity to assist the trajectory of water treatment and hygiene services. The ideal candidate will demonstrate proficiency in the Water Hygiene Industry, coupled with senior-level experienceand a robust skill set in project management.Take the next step and become an integral part of their commitment to delivering top-tier service and driving innovation!Requirements as an Operations Manager:

  • Minimum 5 years management experience within the water industry, including L8 compliance.
  • Strong understanding of water treatment/water hygiene.
  • Proven experience in team leadership and promoting continuous improvement.
  • Strong understanding of financial management and business development.
  • Effective verbal and written communication abilities.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and online management systems.
Responsibilities as an Operations Manager:
  • Supervise the day-to-day operations of water treatment engineers and Legionella Risk Assessors.
  • Optimise treatment processes to enhance efficiency.
  • Ensure compliance with contracts and maintain quality standards.
  • Assess training needs and conduct competency assessments.
  • Build and maintain good relationship with clients from all levels.
  • Contribute to the development of technical quotations.
  • Attending customer meetings and reviews as necessary.
  • Act as the primary contact for operational quality and compliance matters.
  • Support training and recruitment activities.
