Job Description

Seeking for an inspiring and dedicated Math Teacher to join our dynamic team!GSL Education is looking for Math Teacher who is committed to delivering outstanding education at our clients’ secondary schools in Newcastle. The schools take great pride on creating a welcoming environment where students are engaged, challenged, and motivated to achieve their full potential.The Head Teacher is particularly interested in candidates who possess a genuine passion for their subject and can demonstrate strong behavior management skills in the classroom.   • Planning, teaching and assessing theMath Curriculum
  • Be confident teaching KS3 and KS4Math
  • Select and requisition appropriate books, instructional aids and school supplies as needed
  • Following the school behaviour management policy effectively
  • Promoting independence
  • Providing an outstanding level of safeguarding and pastoral care
  • Be responsible for the attainment of pupils
  • Be responsible for individualised learning plans for pupils with SEND and SEMH
The ideal candidate will:
  • Hold Qualified Teaching Status
  • Have a degree in subject area
  • Be passionate about their subject area
  • ECT’s are welcome
  • Be proactive, energetic, kind and caring
  • An enhanced DBS on the update service (or willing to go through the process with ourselves)
  • A full checkable work history
